The music librarian ensures that each choir member has a legal copy of each piece of music in the active repertoire. Key activities include:
- Maintain a paper-based filing system so that printed sheet music is easy to find.
- Make sure each piece in the active repertoire is available in electronic form (PDF) on the website, behind a password.
- Make sure that before we start the rehearsal, everyone has what they need, so that no rehearsal time is wasted shuffling papers.
- Buy sheet music for pieces, as requested by music committee, from legal publishers, using choir budget (TBD).
